Extended Day Program


The Extended Day Program is only offered to those students who attend the Morning Preschool Program five mornings per week.  The children enjoy lunch at 12:00pm Noon and then take a nap from from 12:30PM / 1:00PM until 2:30PM.  After nap time, we provide an afternoon snack and then the children have additional daily playground time (weather permitting) as well as inside activities.  You can pickup your child anytime between 2:30pm and 5:00pm when the Preschool closes.

This program is available throughout the year and includes early morning drop off which begins at 7:30am.  Space for this program is limited.

Children who are enrolled in the Extended Day Program need to bring their lunch from home.  In addition to their food, please provide a drink, napkin and any silverware that may be needed.  Hillsborough County Health Department rules prohibit us from heating any food item that may be in their lunch box.  Please alert a staff member if the lunch needs to be refrigerated.

Fees:

The total tuition cost of the all day program is $680.00 per month.  In addition to the monthly tuition fee, we also charge an Annual $200.00 Registration Fee and an Annual $200 Material Fee.  The Registration fee is due at the time the registration packet is submitted while the Material Fee is billed twice annually, in September ($100.00) and again in January (100.00).

Holidays and School Closures:

We will close our program for eight (8) holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day and the 4th of July.  Please refer to the school calendar for the dates.

To meet Certification and Licensing Requirements, each year we CLOSE the preschool for one (1) week in July to allow the staff to attend training workshops.  The specific dates for the closure can be found on the yearly calendar.  You are not charged tuition for the week that we are closed.  This is the only vacation credit the students enrolled in the Extended Day Program will receive for the year.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Your Child:

The Preschool opens at 7:30am daily.  When dropping off between 7:30am and 8:45am, you will enter thru the playground gate located on Morrison Ave., and walk your child to the Early Arrival Room which is located at the end of the sidewalk next to the Castle and sign your child in. Leave your child’s backpack and lunch with the morning staff.  You follow the same procedure when picking up your child, by entering thru the playground and going to the same Early Arrival Room to sign your child out.

On those bad weather days, arrivals and dismissals are performed through the covered entrance on the Parkland Blvd., side of the church.

  • Parents please call the preschool office at (813) 254-5758 when you are arriving at the covered entrance.
  • A member of our staff will come get your child in the morning or bring your child to your vehicle in the afternoon.
  • Please stay in your vehicle at all times so you can continue to move up the line.
  • Exterior doors are always kept locked for the safety of those in the building.

Please note that our staff will only release your child(ren) to those people who you have previously authorized.  The staff will request to see your child’s laminated ID card, or other official identification and we reserve the right to contact you for authorization before releasing your child(ren).  If you are sending someone who isn’t listed on the enrollment form, then please send a written authorization note or call the preschool office at (813) 254-5758.
