Younger 2 Year Olds – Teachers

Miss Cheryl

Miss Cheryl joined the Preschool Staff at Bayshore in 2005 as a teacher’s assistant and is currently teaching a younger 2’s class.  Both of Miss Cheryl’s daughters are alumni of the preschool.  She loves doing art with the children and spending time on the floor with them, playing and reading. When asked why she chose to teach preschool, her response was “I love the excitement that the children display as they learn and grow.  It’s just so amazing to see them soak up everything around them, running up to give me a hug is just the best feeling because I know it makes them feel safe and loved by me.”

Miss Melissa

Miss Melissa joined the Preschool Staff at Bayshore in 2001 as a teacher’s assistant and is currently the teacher for our youngest 2’s class.  She chose to pursue a career in preschool education during high school electing to enroll in the childcare certification program at Robinson High School.  While in the program, she was featured in a magazine for top students in the apprenticeship programs.  She loves working with children at an early age and can turn their painted hands and feet into unique art.  When asked why she chose to teach preschool, her response was “I love working with preschoolers because they have such a strong love of learning so early in life.”

Miss Judy

Miss Judy joined the Preschool Staff at Bayshore in 2012 and is the teacher’s assistant in the younger 2’s classes.  As an empty nester, she missed the pitter patter of little feet and elected to seek a position where she could help influence preschoolers.  Miss Judy is very dependable, has a great laugh and loves working with the children throughout the day.  When asked why she chose to teach preschool, her response was “I love being a part of the children’s lives, watching their personalities grow and develop.  They bring me such laughter and joy, which when combined with the comradery of the teachers and staff here at Bayshore makes each day wonderful.”
